I tend to say that democracy is the ”dictatorship of the majority” because the alleged equality between citizens
does not exist.

You know wut.. Indian people decided recently to let the present government stay in power which wants to sign the nuclear deal with U.S. They won by a minuscule percentage of votes.. So, nearly half of them didn’t want the deal to be signed. And those voted them to power didn’t really know why they were voting in the first place and what the nuke deal was all about.. democracy makes fool of the masses.. By letting them vote and bribing them to vote. I’m talking about countries like India, Bangladesh where the majority are illiterate
