The two assailants behind China’s deadliest militant assault in a decade were Islamic jihadis intent on turning 2008 into a “year of mourning” for the Olympic host nation, the Chinese authorities claimed today.

This is exactly where your Manga interpretation of life comes in.. the bad (governments and the terrorists) versus the good (the rest of us). Though.. what comprises the good can be argued. For the rest of us could be just as bad.. Im imagining the sidey bar tender given a chance to be a terrorist for a day.
