The Dark Knight is not the Best movie ever...but it’s definitely the best superhero movie. Compared to all the sentimental bullcrap Spidey & co. provides...it’s deliciously dark..like dark chocolate...
The reviewer seems to have felt a compulsion to write something against it considering the overwhelmingly positive response. It’s not for everyone....but it does tell a few things about the society...aren’t we facing similar things albeit at a lesser intensity?....don’t we face from moral dilemmas?

I think the films, even those that should not be taken too seriously, are echoing the mood of American society. Concern about the situation and hope that this will change very soon.
